Are kids getting lazier and less active because of all the time they spend on screens these days? It seems like all the kids in my neighborhood are always glued to their phones, tablets or video games rather than playing outside. No one rides their bikes or has spontaneous play dates anymore. Could this be why so many kids are overweight or obese now compared to past generations? They just don't exercise as much as they used to. Staring at screens for hours a day can't be good for their development either. I wonder if in 10 years we'll see more health problems in kids emerge from too much tech use at young ages.
What do you think, is too much technology affecting kids of nowadays?

There is notting wrong with kids making use of technology, it only becomes and issue when you let them get addicted to it to a point where they can no longer do without it.

Welcome to the Gen Z that would be powered by AI. Remember how you strained your head to write an essay in school. It took you days to compose an essay. Gen Z are getting better essays than what you ever wrote with AI. Next would be mental laziness in this Gen Z.

Whether we like it or not, it is technology that defines this generation. And nothing that anyone can do about that. The lifestyle of the previous generation has sailed. So technology is not doing anything bad to the kids.
