Running a business could be stressful. But there are some businesses that are stressful every day that you operate it. And one of such is food business. You would have to wake up on time and start cooking, so that your food would be ready on time for patrons.

After you have sold out, you would have to go to the market to buy perishable food items for the next day. Is there any other business more stressful than food?

Selling and managing a cooked food business is definitely not an easy task, but I won't actually classify it as the hardest. I think it depends on each individual. There are does who are already used to the task and actually enjoy it probably because they have always loved cooking so they don't see this as stressful. Then again it's still not an easy task and can be quit tasking and draining.

I think it is the most stressful! When one of my girlfriend was working in a restaurant, she is always busy and never have time for herself. She hardly visits me because of tight schedule. I have to call off that relationship because of lack of time and intimacy.

You would have to respect people that are into food business. They are very strong. Even having to cook food for yourself is not easy, not to talk of cooking food commercially where you have to prepare different meals everyday.

Every business has got some stress. Like running a shop. You have to open your store in time so that people visit it. If you open it at irregular timings your business suffers a loss.

Running a food business can be a stressful task. It involves going to the market to buy all the necessary ingredients, cooking them, and arranging the food for sale. If you do not have any employees, you are responsible for selling the food yourself. This was the type of business that my grandmother's sister used to run before she passed away, and it was undoubtedly stressful.

I run a cooked food business, but I do it happily because the business idea comes from deep within my heart, not someone else's order or doing business by force. Before starting the business, we have carried out an evaluation of the risks that will occur, such as food not being sold out and it being impossible for us to sell it tomorrow morning. But the profit margin level of the cooked food business will be much greater than that of the grocery business.

It surely is. The only challenge is that the business can be really stressful to manage and run to be very efficient. But with commitment, nothing is impossible.

there are jobs more stressful than selling cooked foods. working at a nightclub for example is not pleasant (especially for females), dealing with drunk and drugged people, a decreased sense of hearing, sleeping through the day and waking up in the afternoon to cook food and go to work again. I find this routine pretty hard, especially if you have kids to take care of.
