Is the DVD player completely phased out?

There was a time when DVDs were the primary auxiliary connection that was used to watch movies. They often read DVD discs and played the video contents on TV. It seems the DVD player is no longer in existence.

Do you still see DVD players any longer? Does it have any use in the modern days?

Not really, these days they now put dvd players in cars.

I am not certain if it is completely out of circulation. Perhaps a few stores may still carry them. At home, we still have a DVD player, but we hardly ever use it.

Someone gifted me a DVD player last year and it is still lying there in my house. I have never used it for anything. Don't even know what to use it for.
