Is the native browser of an OS always the best for that OS?

Every OS has a native browser that comes with it. Android has chrome and iOS has Safari browser. Given that the browsers are developed by the OS developers too, do you think that native browsers of OS are always the best?

I’m not entirely sure about that as I use iOS and some websites don’t look that good on Safari, so I tend to use Chrome or Brave.

You use brave? That's about the slowest browser that I have known. It is very lethargic in nature from my end.

I don’t use it often, but yes. It uses the same core system that Google chrome does(chromium).
