Yes, there is a strong and growing connection between Search Engine Optimization ( SEO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI ). AI is rapidly transforming how search engines work, and consequently, how SEO strategies are developed and implemented. AI algorithms power many aspects of modern search engines. They analyze vast amounts of data to understand user intent, preferences, and search patterns. This allows search engines to deliver more relevant and personalized results. This shift necessitates SEO professionals to adapt their strategies to align with AI–driven search engine functionalities.

The relationship between AI and SEO will only continue to grow stronger. AI will likely play an even more significant role in content creation, keyword research, and user experience optimization. However, human expertise will remain essential for strategic decision-making, creative content development, and ensuring ethical SEO practices.

There really isn't too much of a shift, they're both connected. Without seo, you won't rank in the AI systems. SEO is the engine that powers it all.

Indeed, SEO and SAI have a strong connection. Searchers on the web rely on them and without these two, the search will not be perfect.
The connection is that without SEO, AI wouldn't function. AI pulls content from every website due the ranking systems that SEO provides.

Especially the sitemaps from Google and Bing. If a webmaster has their sitemap submitted on Microsoft's search engine(BING), then Chatgpt uses it to index their content on their AI chat system. Which, other systems will more than likely pull from as well. Google's search engine is number 1, so a lot of other search engines use their search engine to pull similar content to rank as well.

Submitting your sitemap to Google plays a huge role as well as without the sitemap, it'll be tough for your content to be crawled and rank. Everything is connected and linked.

The AI systems also pull content from social media sites along with Quora/reddit, they look for ask/answer content the most, so if there's content that they can use in their systems, they'll use it. If there's quality backlinks pointing to a website, it'll help a site rank better in the engines.

I agree with your priceless explanation. Let alone the Facebook Meta Messenger, both FB and Messenger are managed by AI. I always chat with AI Messenger. We talk about my business. It supports me by providing links from search engines.

Facebook's ai is a different beast in itself. It also pulls content from the facebook apps like instagram, threads and facebook. It's quite crazy how much content the platform has over other services. They have a huge advantage over other networks. They're easily in direct competition with chatgpt in google in terms of that. I've used Facebook's ai systems as well and their answers is quite nice compared to others. i think it's somewhat better than Chatgpt.
