I was told to install a landline telephone in my milk tea business so I can call my prospective buyers through the telephone directory. I did not listen to the suggestion. Having it may make my staff lazy. They might be busy calling their friends or special someone. The phone bill could give me additional headache. It's also not logical for I and my staff have cellular phone.

What's your stand of this?

You can give it a try for like a month and see how it goes. Who knows, they might be more mature on how to handle it.
No, once you install a landline telephone, it takes you three years before deciding to stop the line or pay the huge penalty. Landline phone is good only for big businesses.

Wow three years? If that's the case instead of using a landline, why not simply get a separate phone for the office. Then appoint someone who would be in charge of calling and receiving calls. Then monitor them if they use it for personal gain.

That is what others are doing here, but small businesses, they are not installing a landline phone like my business, none. We only use our mobile phones.

Yes it is probably because it is way cheaper compared to using a landline. Even here in my country people mostly using a mobile phone.

The landline telephone businesses here are no longer hot unlike in the past. This time almost zero applicant.

Indeed, things are changing, a lot of people have moved on from using landlines. With a mobile, they can be on the move and still be able to attend to calls.
