Is there an age limit to posting on forum sites like Discussion Bucks? I want to get your opinion before texturing two retired teachers I met online recently. They are my customers of my online business. They are both in their 70s but they are still energetic and young looking considering their statuses as retired teachers from a prestigious Universities. They are both English teachers.

They asked me about my side gigs and I told them about DBucks. They are interested to join. I told them they can for sure. They are waiting for my referral link but I am hesitant if their age is qualified?

In my simple understanding, it seems they are qualified as long as they have passion in posting. What do you think?

My impression is that you need to be at least 13 to post on forums, but I do not think that there is an upper age limit. Retired persons or elder people can post on forums as long as they are able to do so.
Thank you for your suggestion or response. I will tell them if they are still willing to join. They want to keep themselves busy. They live on their huge monthly pension at $2, 500 a month excluding the bonuses twice a year.

I believe that there is no age to communicate, because after all, this forum is for me to express my opposition to other people and learn from them.
There is an age limit in certain countries and states. You have to be over 13 or it’s against Coppa’s rules and regulations. You can get in trouble as a forum owner if Coppa wanted to enforce it upon your forum.

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (COPPA), which came into effect in 2000, is a federal law of the United States which details how website operators must process information collected from children under the age of 13. The law specifically states what type of data is covered and how website operators may legally collect this data. Under COPPA, websites must obtain parental consent in order to collect the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of anyone under the age of 13. COPPA gives the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) the ability to levy fines against companies that do not properly comply with the law.

The most important thing is that they are able to effectively communicate and pass their messages across. If they have good comprehensive skills then it shouldn't be an issue.

That is right, they are so eager and this time, I am not telling them that they an apply on this forum site. they are educated and holders of doctorate degrees.they want another diversion.

It's what we always know that the right age to start engaging in Internet activities is 13,but there are kids that play games online at age 2. The kids become aggressive to learn more.
