Is there any chance the sale of building materials is a seasonal business?

Seasonal businesses are those commercial ventures that peak in a particular period of a year. Someone told me that sales of building materials is a seasonal business because there is a particular season people build houses.

Is building materials business a seasonal business? What season can we say ot booms?

This is the business I'm keen to go into. No it is not seasonal to me. people always build anytime. it's about when money is available

I don't think it's a seasonal business cause people tend to build their houses at any time. Though I think there might be Moe sales during the dry seasons, cause a lot of people would want to finish their house before the rain starts.
