Is there any way to minimize child support payments?

When a man has a child with a partner they are not married to, they would have to pay an amount determined by the court as child support every month. Sometimes, the amount given by the court as child support can be too expensive.

Is there anything one can do to have a more comfortable amount to be paying as child support?

If a man can prove to the court that things have really changed since the initial amount for child support was added, the court might decide to reduce it.

I am not aware of such regulation in my city. If the couple is not married and have a child, the court is not involved in ruling child support expenses.

There are many here in my country unwed mothers by partners who have stable job but they do not give financial support to their child. But for the smart moms they filed in court and the man is obliged to give financial support but usually do not reach to the term when the man marries.

Just maybe, if you show concrete proofs that your earnings has reduced, the court might consider reducing the payment for child support.

That's right but you need to make the amount still be reasonable for your children wellbeing though

The court rules based on the income a man recieves. You cant be earniing a healthy amount but expect your child to be surviving on the bare minimum while you live a lavish life. The child has to live a healthy life just like you. If you can proof otherwise to the court they will reduce the child support accordingly.

The only way to minimize the exorbitant child support is to go and marry the lady and the child support will be nullified. Or you fill for bankruptcy. But in this our world, i doubt if child support is working as suppose.
