Is Ton Network the next big thing in crypto?

I have not really followed the revolution of the Ton network that much but I just read today that it is congested because of so much activity on it.

Which tokens are built on the Ton network as it stands? What makes it different from other blockchain networks?

I think that it is basically the speed associated with transactions on the Ton network that is responsible for it's popularity.

TON is built to be a multi-functional network that supports smart contracts and dApps. TON also implements a BFT consensus mechanism system that is different from other blockchains

I don't know if it will be the next big thing, what I am sure is that in the long term it will be a profitable investment, it is smart to hold said cryptocurrency for a few years IMO.

TON will likely be the next big cryptocurrency network. TON is build with and integrated with telegram. TON network have hundreds of dapp that is in their eco-system. Secondly, integrate with Telegram have boosted its popularity.

While it's impossible to say definitively if TON is "the next big thing," it does have several characteristics that make it a promising cryptocurrency.

Given the current Toncoin landscape, I highly doubt it. Toncoin still has a lot of development and adoption ahead of it if it wants to truly compete.
