According to the report, Iran vowed “serious and deterrent action' against Israel over the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last week. Gen. Hossein Salami Israel will find out when, where, and how Iran retaliates, adding "It is ambiguous and indeterminate."
The report said that Iran blamed heightened regional tensions on the US failure to act “on its moral, legal, and human responsibility and put pressure” on Israel. A top Russian official arrived in Tehran as Israel is bracing itself for Iran’s response to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.
The report added that Russia’s security council secretary, Sergei Shoigu will hold talks with the Iranian leadership including President Masoud Pezeshkian.
