Israel hit Iran’s infamous Evin prison in Tehran used for incarcerating large number of prisoners

According to the report, Israel's airstrike on Monday hit Iran’s notorious Evin prison in the capital, Tehran. Iran's judiciary confirmed attacks on Evin prison, saying "projectiles" hit the prison and caused damage to parts of the facility. But the situation is "under control", according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-affiliated Fars News Agency. Local residents shared images on social media of the road leading to the courthouse and the Evin prison after Israeli attacks.

The report said that the missile strikes caused serious damage to the prison's surroundings. Iran International news outlet reported the strike hit the entrance gate to the prison, apparently to allow prisoners to escape. Being a fortified complex, Evin prison serves to incarcerate political prisoners, human rights activists, and others. Meanwhile, the Israeli Defence Forces, IDF, said the military carried out airstrikes on Iran’s Fordo nuclear site on Monday, following strikes launched on the facility by the US on Sunday morning. The IDF said it did so "in order to obstruct access routes" to the site.

That is an evil way of ending the lives of the political prisoners. It is so inhuman.
