According to the report, an Israeli drone strike in Rafah, southern Gaza, killed one person and injured another, according to Palestinian media. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) confirmed the strike, stating it targeted two suspects retrieving a drone flown from Israel into Gaza.
Meanwhile, the IDF approved battle plans for Gaza should the ceasefire-hostage deal with Hamas collapse, deploying additional brigades and special forces to the Southern Command.
The report added that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar warned of renewed military action if hostages are not released, while Hamas accused Israel of violating the truce.
In addition to the report, tensions heightened as senior Hamas leaders reportedly ceased using phones over fears of Israeli tracking, and Israeli security officials urged restraint to complete phase one of the hostage deal. Far-right politicians called for severe action against Hamas if all hostages are not freed by the deadline.
The Hamas terrorists do not have a plan to release the hostages, I hope those hostages are still alive. The Hamas does not like to release the hostages because they can be their shields during the combat with Israel.
