According to the report, Israel carried out the latest airstrikes on October 3, hitting a Hezbollah rescue facility in central Beirut after eight Israeli ground troops were killed near the border.
The report said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reacted to the deaths of the soldiers, stating that the country is at the height of a difficult war against Iran. The latest strikes come after Israel reiterated its call for evacuations in southern Beirut. Israel’s U.N. ambassador, Danny Danon, said that the time for empty calls for de-escalation was over.

Meanwhile, slain Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah’s son-in-law, Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir, has reportedly been eliminated in an Israeli raid in Damascus on October 2. However, the G7 coalition has still maintained that a diplomatic solution is possible in West Asia.
