According to the report, Israelis flooded the streets of Tel Aviv in protest Tuesday, after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu fired Defence Minister Yoav Gallant. Citing a crisis of trust regarding the management of Israel’s ongoing military operations, Gallant was replaced by Foreign Minister Israel Katz.

The report said, “Tonight is a spontaneous outburst of rage because we have had enough,” declared Zahir Shahar Mor, a family member of one of the hostages, who joined protesters speaking out against the firing.

The report added that other protesters said they believed the government had failed them. Gallant and Netanyahu, both in the right-wing Likud party, have clashed for months over the objectives of Israel’s 13-month-old war against the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

Galant is a bit more balanced when it comes to solving problems. Gallant considered negotiation options to save Israelis because he knew that war alone can not solve war, however, PM Netanyahu knows what is doing and no one can dictate to him what to do. The world agrees with these protesters. Americans agree too, even as the U.S. government does not represent the wishes of Americans, just as Israel acts against the wishes of Israelis.
