Israeli strike in Gaza kills more than 70, hospital head says

More than 70 people have died as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a school in Gaza City that was sheltering displaced Palestinians, a hospital's director informed the BBC. These are the fatalities that have been acknowledged so far, according to Fadl Naeem, head of al-Ahli Hospital, where a large number of the casualties were taken in. Identification of the remains of many more victims is challenging because of their severe damage.
