I have seen some businesses that are operating at night here having very dim lights. I get to wonder what they are selling in darkness. How would someone passing by know that the business is operational from afar?

Any business that operates at night must light up the business place.

With solar bulbs, those businesses would be able to light up their businesses cheaply. It is something that isn't too expensive.

If it's a club though, the insides might not be that bright, but that my the side anyone doing a business at night needs to have good lightening.

Running a club is understandable. But what I think the poster is talking about is retail businesses that operate at night that don't light up their shops.

When crossing remote roads or far from the crowd, I also often see some dim stalls, I don't know if it's a coffee shop or a food stall, but I see some women trying to stop my car, and I think they are prostitutes, and maybe a gathering place for drunks.

It depends on the type of business. Some businesses may prefer not to have enough lights outside. However, if you are selling food, make sure that your establishment is well-lit, especially in areas where there are few visible police officers or people nearby who can assist in case of a robbery.
