Ivory coast have surprised football pundits and analysts by hosting and winning the AFCON trophy. Before the beginning of the tournment, ivory coast was ranked 109 by FIFA and was 37 in all Africa football team ranking. The elephants performance is not to write home about. They lose their three friendly matches before the tournament. Nobody give them chance even the ivory coast supporters.
