According to the report, Japan has warned its citizens in China to be careful of their surroundings and to avoid big crowds, as a diplomatic row spirals over Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s comments on Taiwan. The escalating spat has already seen Beijing advise Chinese citizens to avoid traveling to Japan and hit Tokyo stocks.

The report stated that people must pay attention to their surroundings and advised not to get into a huge crowd to avoid a mishap, said the Japanese embassy in China on Monday.

The report also said that Beijing on Tuesday vowed to protect the safety of foreigners in China, but said it had again lodged a strong protest with Tokyo over Takaichi’s comments.

The Tokyo minister said it had summoned the Chinese ambassador over the now-deleted social media post.

From my perspective, these kinds of tensions between Japan and China demonstrate how delicate the political situation in the region has become. It's understandable that governments want to protect their citizens and maintain security, but I also believe that these disputes can escalate unnecessarily and affect ordinary people who simply want to live without fear. The recommendation to avoid crowds seems sensible at this time, as there is always a risk that any incident could escalate into something bigger. However, I can't help but feel that these statements and protests only fuel a cycle of mistrust and confrontation that benefits no one. I hope that, through dialogue and patience, they can find a way to resolve their differences without ordinary people ultimately suffering the most. Stability and peace must be the priority in times like these.

That happened after the post of the South Korean minister about Japan, and that angered the new Prime Minister of Japan. They are now hitting each other. Hoping there will be no chaos between China and Japan, especially for those Japanese who are working in China.
