The report said that as part of Operation Sindoor, the Indian armed forces struck Bahwalpur city in Pakistan’s Punjab. Missiles were used to hit the Markaz Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, which is the headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammad. Jaish-e-Mohammad or JeM is a UN-designated terror organisation founded and led by Masood Azhar, the mastermind behind the 2011 terror attack on the Indian Parliament. At least 10 members of his family and 4 of his close associates were killed. This is the first time that India has struck terror infrastructure in Pakistan’s Punjab.
