Kamchatka being completely cut off by record snowfall is a dramatic reminder of nature’s power. Personally, I think it shows how vulnerable remote regions are to extreme weather. What surprises me is the scale of isolation, forcing urgent calls for Moscow’s help. For me, the most important aspect is preparedness climate resilience must be prioritized in infrastructure. I believe this crisis highlights the importance of national support for local communities. In the end, Kamchatka’s struggle is not just about snow, but about survival in the face of isolation.
