Texas officials were left stunned after a kangaroo was spotted hopping across a Liberty County road. Authorities and animal control officers were able to corner the animal with the help of nearby residents.

Police were soon searching for the kangaroo's owner. They asked anyone with information about the animal's whereabouts to contact the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
