Kanlaon experienced 24 volcanic quakes in the last 24 hours

On Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported that Kanlaon Volcano had 24 volcanic quakes in the previous 24 hours. The volcano has been experiencing "intensified unrest" since its massive eruption earlier this month, in December. On December 18th, Kanlaon Volcano on Negros Island spewed a 100-meter-tall cloud containing 4,636 tonnes of sulfur. According to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, ashfall has harmed 30 nearby cities and towns. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology has warned citizens to evacuate for their own safety.

That volcano always erupts. I am hoping that the people living nearby must vacate immediately once there is an order of evacuation to save Ives. There is no second chance if being hit by the volcanic lava.
