Kenyan teachers to go on a strike as from Monday, 26th August, 2024.

The teachers have laid down a strike as the government fails to address the common working grievances for the teachers. Teachers are hailing for promotion, salaries increase among other reasons.

After the protest last month to follow this one. Are teachers salaries there too small? They need increase. To teach is not easy. In the Philippines teachers always receive salary increase yearly. This year the increase is $250 plus clothing allowances. and more.

I hope that they will be heard. It is not easy to teach especially teaching kids in the elementary and high school. They are changeable and erratic youths.
