According to the report, King Charles has led a remembrance ceremony at the Cenotaph in Whitehall, in recognition of those who have died in conflicts dating back to the First World War.

The report said that the King laid the first wreath at the memorial followed by Prince William as the Princess of Wales stood with the Duchess of Edinburgh watching from a balcony at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office building.

Very dignified. King Charles looked visibly moved. Well done to all the veterans and their families for turning out on a cold day. Even if King Charles is sick of cancer he still leads the ceremony to recognize the heroes who shed their blood during the the First World War. The King is certainly thinking of his mother today. He looks well. Lest we forget the brave departed souls and their loved ones. It is such a remarkable ceremony. Rest in peace to those victims of the First World War.
