Omid Malekan's reflection on how tokenization can transform traditional finance strikes me as very insightful. The classic financial system (TradFi) has operated for decades with rigid structures and slow processes, while cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin have demonstrated that technology can offer transparency, speed, and accessibility. Tokenizing financial assets, from bonds to real estate, opens the door to a new era where liquidity and traceability become key advantages. Furthermore, it allows more people to participate in markets that were previously reserved for large institutions. However, the challenge lies in regulation and trust: without clear rules, mass adoption will be difficult. I believe the future will not be a complete replacement of TradFi, but rather a gradual integration where the best of both worlds are combined. Tokenization is that bridge that can redefine how we understand value.

I agree with this take. Tokenization works best as an extension, not a replacement. It solves real issues like settlement speed, transparency, and access, but trust and regulation still anchor the system. The real shift happens when TradFi adopts these tools quietly in the background. That’s where scale actually comes from.
