A popular Lagos-based Fashion entrepreneur, Onyeuka Sophia, owner of Sophie Couture, has passed away.

Her family announced her passing in a statement issued on her Instagram page today, March 5.

The statement referred to her death as an ‘irreparable loss’. The cause of her death was, however, not stated.

I've never heard of Sophie Couture. I'm hearing about this for the first time. However, this will especially sadden her family, friends, and customers. May she rest in peace.

How old was she? May her soul rest in peace though, this year there have been a lot of deaths, i pray God helps us.

She was in her late 20s. She was a well known person and I heard that the dead wasn't expected at all.

She is a very popular fashion entrepreneur but i doubt if her influence passed beyond Nigeria. It is very unfortunate that she passed away when she suppose to be enjoying her wealth.
