Lagos govt announces night traffic diversion for truck barrier installation.
The Lagos State Government has announced a temporary night-time traffic diversion along the Fadeyi-Donmanlong and Donmanlong-Ojuelegba corridors to facilitate the installation of truck-restriction barriers
The Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, disclosed that the diversion will be in effect from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10, until 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026.

According to Osiyemi, the intervention forms part of the state’s traffic control and road safety initiatives aimed at reducing accidents and protecting lives along the busy axis.
