Large companies criminally defaming small business owners

I have noticed that some of the largest internet companies here are extremely vicious in destroying the reputation of small online business owners, falsely accusing them of cheating and illegal activities without any proof at all. Later after a decade, it is legally proved that the internet companies do not have any proof, yet the damage is already done. What can the online business owner do to reverse the damage caused?

The only thing they can do is take legal action. Small businesses also have rights and it's wrong for these so called big businesses to bully them that way.
