Large companies silencing customers who complain

Some large companies feel that they can get away with harassing their customers, especially if the customer is complaining about the service received or problems the insurance company has created. Other than giving incorrect replies, what other methods do large companies use to harass customers?

Not sure about this though, another way is probably by ignoring their complaints and not making any attempt to solve it.

Large companies which try to silence customers may not work because customers can report the case to Consumer Council or even open a press conference if the matter is serious.

They delay or ignore the responses of customers emails giving false information or taking advantage.

I have observed bug companies do that and that is against the ethics of business competition. Customers always boycott such a business.

Most big organisations do harass their customers by not responding to the negative reviews they have offer to the public.
