Studies have shown that laughter is a powerful medicine. Laughing activates a variety of organs. Laughter boosts the amount of oxygen-rich air you breathe in, stimulates your heart, lungs, and muscles, raises your brain's release of endorphins, and both activates and reduces your stress response. Additionally, some claim that laughing naturally reduces pain.

That's a classic saying, and it's definitely open to interpretation. In some cases, a good laugh can definitely help to lift spirits and improve one's mood. Laughter can release endorphins and other "feel-good" hormones that can help to boost our mood and improve our overall well-being. On the other hand, there are certainly times when laughter is not the best medicine, and we may need something else to heal what ails us.

Laughter is the best medicine but laughing too much is bad for those with heart malfunction. When we laugh the world will laugh with us but if we cry, nobody wants to cry with us. We cry solo if the cause is break-up.

Laughter is actually the best medicine and it's something one can get himself at no cost , being sad and lonely for too long has more of harm than any good it might bring that's if there is.

That's very true. We have to laugh to stay healthy. Remaining serious makes our nerves tense and we end up having any terminal disease.
