When i started learning SEO, i found it really interesting and doing so has really helped me understand how to get free traffic. It was a bit technical at first, but the long term benefits seemed huge. Has anyone here seen real results from basic SEO tweaks like title tags or meta descriptions?

Yes, definitely, it will save you from paying an SEO professional for nonsense that you can do perfectly yourself, then if you need something more complex, only then can you go to an SEO professional, but in the basics, how do you want to learn, it is worth learning the basics of SEO.

From my experience, SEO is one of the best time investments for a beginner. It doesn’t require huge budgets and it gives you the chance to really understand how search engines work. Basic adjustments (meta tags, H1s, internal structure) can bring visible results, but the real difference comes when you combine them with strategic content and quality links. I tested this approach on several websites and saw steady traffic growth without spending money on ads.
A good starting point is Matthew Bertram’s discussions and explanations, because he manages to connect the technical side with a business vision. I found it really useful how he translates complex concepts into an actionable plan that anyone can follow, even at the beginner stage.
