Lebanon Explosions Raise Fears of Wider West Asia War

According to the report, a series of devastating explosions across Lebanon has left 25 dead and over 600 injured. Electronic devices such as walkie-talkies and pagers, reportedly linked to Hezbollah, detonated in multiple locations.

The report said that one blast occurred during a funeral for those killed in a previous wave of explosions. Meanwhile, Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has declared the beginning of a new phase in the conflict, shifting military focus to the northern front with Lebanon.

The report added that with Hezbollah striking Israeli positions, fears of a broader West Asia war are intensifying.
