The following are literary magazines you may want to apply . The pay is handsome, and I know that there are many good writers here. Below are the lists for you to choose. I already applied at One Story and submitted three short stories.

1. One Story: Pays $500 per published story and 25 contributor's copies. They focus on literary fiction and accept stories within the 3,000-8,000 word range.

2. Ploughshares: A literary magazine published by Emerson College, known for its focus on contemporary fiction. They offer a payment of $100 per short story.

3. The Threepenny Review: Another well-regarded literary journal that accepts short stories and pays for them.

4. Clarkesworld Magazine: Publishes science fiction and fantasy stories and pays writers well.

5. Strange Horizons: A long-running speculative fiction magazine that pays writers through fund drives.

6. Fireside Magazine: Aims to publish great stories and pay writers well.

7. Lightspeed Magazine: Focuses on science fiction and fantasy short stories.

8. Apex Magazine: Publishes science fiction, fantasy, and horror stories.

These are awesome offers, especially for the professional writers, though i doubt this offers would be available here in my country.

Who knows, try to browse to see if your country is a part of these magazines. You will never know if you don't try.

Yeah I doubt it might work for Nigerians. Who knows we might just have to try it out and see how it goes
Try to check them, who knows, your country is accepted. I already submitted short stories to the One Story site.

Yeah right it doesn't take anything to try out. We just have to that we get accepted because I know there will be some verification

Try mate, you can submit at least two short stories in a month. It is also not easy to write a fiction.

Mate, it is never easy but we just have to harness our talent and make money with it

That is right mate, I am waiting for my pay at the end of the end of the month, hopefully. I hope and pray that there is no problem of payment or else, it will kill my interest.

That is great earning opportunities but l think my country is very disadvantaged on the same.
You try. They may like the flavor of your unique writing. Just use Grammarly to assist you in writing. It's free to download that tool in your laptop and Android phone.

Thank you for sharing this list. These magazines are great opportunities for writers looking to get published and earn. I especially like that one story offers a solid $500 per price, that's pretty motivating. I am not a writer but i admire writers.

There's another site called medium but the payment depends on the number of viewers.

I registered on medium but I disliked the topics to write. They're more on crypto and it's associates, so I didn't write anything and left.

I don't write for Medium anymore.
Why didn't you anymore write in medium? Didn't you like the topics? Have you received a pay? Is the pay good?

I wrote one story and didn't get any views and was therefore not paid anything.
