According to the report, hundreds of members of Argentina's Mothers of Plaza de Mayo protested outside the former Navy School of Mechanics in Buenos Aires on Friday, denouncing mass layoffs at the Human Rights Secretariat.

The report said that the group, formed by mothers of children kidnapped during the 1976-1983 military dictatorship, advocates for justice and reunification of families using DNA testing.

The report added thar Friday’s demonstration coincided with the announcement of locating the 138th stolen child. The layoffs, affecting 600 of 800 employees, threaten their ongoing work. President Javier Milei, who minimized the dictatorship’s repression, has overseen these cuts, prompting outrage from human rights organizations.

The new year started with a devastating blow of these people losing their means of living. Their president must take action for this to resolve this conflict affecting hundreds of victims of mass layoffs. It was said that inflation in Argentina caused by the total lack of basic government knowledge on how to run the country. The reason for mass layoffs, mass unemployment, and mass inflation because of a poor governance.

Imagine starting the new year loosing your job, especially this month that there are a lot of expenses
It is sickening. What must people do? I do believe that up to this time they are still in protest. I will get updates on the results of the people's woes.

Okay, even with a job or business, January is considered as a tough month for most persons, imagine going through it without a job.

This can't be funny for anyone especially for those that have family to care for. it's can't be easy
Exactly, it won't be easy, it's a new year which means for some rent has to be paid, then there is the issue of school resuming which means they have to worry about school fees.

That is true , many struggle to find a work. It is also to find a work if there is no skill. And those who were on layoffs will face insecure and out of order.

That's it. The thing is that it cannot be easy for any family when you are sacked or have lost of job

This is one of the reason why we suppose to have side hustling. It is very silly to hope on government food or money or employment. There is nothing like to have a personal business . When the going get tough, you use your personal business to survive.

Those who faced layoffs suffer a lot mentally, and emotionally. The cannot reason out why it happened that way. Most of them are already old. Maybe their pension is not enough.
Mste, even being sacked as a young person can take a toll on you as your source of living is being cut off

Agree with you mate, it happened to my friends, new teachers and the school they were teaching were sold to another businessman and they were paid as a separation from work. They cried and were terrified. I told them it was not the end of the world. They are now teaching in Thailand with better pay almost fourfold from what they received in the school that sacked them.

Oh luck later smiled on them. This is why I always look forward than wailing because what is ahead of you might be better

That is right and they thanked me for the inspiration the time they were so down. They will visit me next year. They convinced me to teach in Thailand but I refused he he. I love my country and my salary is also okay.

I told them that everything happened for a reason. There's a better place awaiting them to explore. They are all teaching Mathematics and very much needed in Thailand.

It's unfortunate for them. It's difficult to imagine that hundreds of employees have been let go at the beginning of the year. Surviving without a job can be very challenging, especially when there are families to support.
