According to the report, a China Coast Guard vessel engaged in "reckless and dangerous maneuvers" against the smaller BRP Cabra on Sunday afternoon (April 6), the Philippine Coast Guard said. According to Commodore Jay Tarriela, PCG spokesperson for the West Philippine Sea, China Coast Guard vessel 3302 attempted a head-on collision with BRP Cabra. "It is important to note that the China Coast Guard vessel 3302 has engaged in reckless and dangerous maneuvers, displaying a blatant disregard for safety," he said.
