Love is so short, forgetting is so long

Have you experienced it, love so short it's because of betrayal. You feel amazed how it happened why love disappeared so suddenly . What I noticed is, forgetting about the excruciating pain is too long. Love is beautiful but if betrayed the heart will be squeezed in a terrible pain.

That's one reason why I evade remembering an excruciating past. It squeezes me and feels it's burden. I hate loneliness because of love.

Most times it can't really be helped though, you just tend to remember certain things about your past, especially if you come across something that made you remember your past. The best is to give yourself time to heal.

not allow ourselves to dwell on that pain for a long time.
