Love is so short, forgetting is so long

Have you experienced it, love so short it's because of betrayal. You feel amazed how it happened why love disappeared so suddenly . What I noticed is, forgetting about the excruciating pain is too long. Love is beautiful but if betrayed the heart will be squeezed in a terrible pain.

The same way we tend to remember painful experience more than how it was when things are okay, or how you remember an injury. Our body is wired to remember pains more.

That's one reason why I evade remembering an excruciating past. It squeezes me and feels it's burden. I hate loneliness because of love.

I want a long love even until the end of life, but that's why we better meet a love betrayer while dating than after marriage.

That is right @Suba , it is better to experience love betrayal before marriage so we can escape experiencing the excruciating pain of losing a sweet love that turned sour and toxic.

Most times it can't really be helped though, you just tend to remember certain things about your past, especially if you come across something that made you remember your past. The best is to give yourself time to heal.

That's right, let the love go for the pain also follows, in that way we can move on and find another love again. Not all love betrays.
