Announcement Maintenance Completed - Some Other Updates

Dear Discussion Bucks Community,

I'm pleased to inform you that our recent maintenance was successful! We addressed several errors and updated outdated templates, so the forum is now running on the latest version and appears to be error-free.

We're also discussing moving the Job Marketplace into the Marketplace section. This will allow us to streamline job postings by using thread prefixes for better organization.

Additionally, we're considering increasing the daily earnings limit from 10% to 20%. As a reminder, this limit was previously reduced from 25%. However, the current 7 posts and 3 threads per day at full pay rate will remain unchanged.

• Daily Limits: To ensure fair distribution, there's a daily cap on how much you can earn. Beyond this limit, earnings are reduced to 25% of the normal rate.
  • You can create 7 posts and 3 threads per day at the full pay rate before your pay reverts to 25% 10% (temporary change) of the regular earnings amount.

Devin and I are still working on transitioning responsibilities, but it will take a little more time to finalize everything.

Lastly, I will be away from Friday, September 27, 2024, to Sunday, October 6, 2024, for a trip my wife and I have been planning for months. Devin has kindly agreed to handle payouts at the end of the month during my absence.

The reduction happened a while ago and that is a quote from the old topic about the reduction. We maybe going from 10% to 20%. So we will have an increase.

The reduction was when I owned the forum. Revenue decreased slightly and to maintain stability, I had decreased the earnings from 25% down to 10% after the first 7 posts and 3 threads in a 24 hour period. However, @fords8 is hoping to be able to bump it back up an extra 10%, for a total of 20%. So this will almost be as it was originally before the decrease occurred.
