Malaysia warns against traveling to southern Thailand following attacks

According to the news, Malaysia has cautioned its people not to travel to the southern part of Thailand following gunshots and bombs by suspected militants. This happening harmed 13 individuals and claimed the lives of 5 over the weekend. It took place in Thailand's southernmost provinces, which are mostly Buddhist and dominated by ethnic Malay Muslims. In Narathiwat province's border town, gunmen opened fire on a district office before detonating a vehicle bomb. Malaysia's foreign ministry advises, "Malaysians are strongly encouraged to postpone non-essential travel to these areas for the time being."
