Man accused of plotting wife’s rape by at least 50 strangers over almost 10 years in French trial

According to court documents, a man is on trial for allegedly drugging and raping his wife multiple times while she was unconscious and for allegedly encouraging hundreds of other men to do the same in their house. The 71-year-old defendant, Dominique, is accused by the prosecution of drugging his wife with sleeping drugs and anxiety medication before recruiting men online to rape her. Court records reveal that 72 men, aged 26 to 74, have been linked by police to at least 92 counts of sexual assault. The southern French town of Avignon hosted the trial on September 2, and a decision is anticipated on December 20 of this year. I have never heard of an instance as bad as this one.
