Man Calls 911, to Invite Police for Card Game at His Home!

An elder from the Opaskwayak Cree Nation decided to call 911, but not for help—but for a unique invitation. He invited the police to come play cards at his home.

The police took the invitation seriously. They arrived quickly to ensure the caller’s safety and to see if there was any emergency.

After determining that there was no danger, the officers decided to stay and play a card game with the elder.
