Man found hiding in cannabis factory claimed he didn’t know what the plants were

Concerns had been raised about the property and police carried out a raid on August 13 last year.

Upon entry officers discovered almost every room was full of cannabis plants – and Ngyuen hidden away.

In his interview the 39-year-old – who originally gave an alias – claimed that he did not know what type of plant he was growing.

Sussex Police said this was “unlikely”.

Nguyen was later charged with abstracting/using electricity without authority, obstruct/resisting a constable in the execution of duty, being concerned in the production of a Class B drug, and for being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug.

That just a lie, why would a 39yrs old man don't know the type of plant his growing, they police should probably arrest the Young Man.

How ignorant, he can't lie the police unless he planted only some, but it's numerous maybe one hectare. He forgot that ignorance of the law excuses no one.
