Losing out was sad, but most Man United fans already made their peace with the fact that they won't qualify after the draw in Turkey.
Also, missing out on Europa League is not in any way sad. In fact, it's more like a blessing in disguise. Man United have struggled to cope with absence of key players this season. Enduring a Thursday-Sunday matchup will only put more stress on the already thin squad. Competing in the Europa League would've been nothing but a shameful proposition for Man United.
