Of course, everyone will have different preferences and needs. Although automatic savings are more efficient, they're easier to forget, and are allocated immediately upon receipt of your paycheck, preventing unnecessary spending. However, many people prefer manual savings, especially those who enjoy interacting with others.

Both manual and automatic savings methods can be applied to anyone, whether they receive a fixed salary or work as a freelancer. By reducing all input/income by about 20%, they can be allocated to a savings account.

As a freelancer, my monthly income is unstable. I cannot do automatic savings because I do not know the amount of money I earn in each month.

Same here. My monthly income is unstable because it depends on the amount of work done. Some days I earn more, while other days I earn much less.

Automated savings plan works better. You can schedule transfers of the same amount on the same date of each month to a savings account. This way, you don't have to remind yourself to transfer money every month, it just happens automatically.
