Marce, a tropical depression, grows into a storm when it hits PAR

According to PAGASA, tropical depression Marce has developed into a tropical storm as it approaches the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) early Monday morning. The storm was last seen 935 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas, with continuous winds of 65 kph and gusts up to 80 kph. Marce is likely to bring rain to Luzon's eastern and northernmost parts on Tuesday. Furthermore, signal number 1 may be activated in some areas of Cagayan on that day, with the risk of the wind signal increasing to number 4 as the storm progresses.
