According to the report, after wrapping up his first-ever state visit to India, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. brought home $446 million in investments and said more were on the way. Marcos said he was very satisfied with the deals secured during the trip, even wondering why the Philippines had not sought to deepen ties with India.

Marcos told reporters that n terms of actual total direct investment, we have already secured $446 million in terms of actual direct investment. But that is already what we have decided at the end of this .The president said he expected several investment areas to yield as much as $5.7 billion.

The report also stated that Marcos brought along half of his Cabinet to India, which is the largest delegation he has taken on a foreign trip. Talks with Indian leaders uncovered many areas of potential cooperation between the two countries.

In addition, the Philippines signed several agreements with India in both business and political sectors. The most significant agreement was the formalization of a strategic partnership between the Philippines and India, elevating bilateral ties.

India and Philippines have a strong ties for almost 75 years now and it cannot be uprooted. Indians are welcomed in the Philippines to do trading. In the city where I live there are many Indian businessmen.
