Medina Accident LIVE: 45 Indian Pilgrims Killed in Saudi Arabia Bus Crash Near Madinah

According to the report, a bus carrying Indian nationals traveling between Mecca and Medina crashed into a fuel tanker and caught fire, killing 45 of the 46 people on board.

The report also stated that the sole survivor is being treated in Medina. Most passengers were from Telangana and had traveled from Hyderabad for Umrah. Rescue teams say many bodies were charred, making identification difficult.

The report also said that Indian and Saudi authorities are coordinating to confirm identities, and control rooms have been set up in Jeddah and Hyderabad. India's Prime Minister has expressed condolences.

Additionally, Telangana has announced support for families. Saudi Arabia has reportedly recorded several similar pilgrim road accidents in recent years.
