According to the report, Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said Donald Trump's victory in the US elections would probably be bad news for Ukraine.

He said that the Ukrainian authorities fell into the category of people Trump was likely to not want to spend too much money on. "The question is how much Trump will be forced to give to the war.

The former Russian president called Donald Trump stubborn, but the system is stronger," said Medvedev. Trump has one useful quality for us: as a businessman to the core, he mortally dislikes spending money on various hangers-on and stupid hanger-on allies, on bad charity.

Ukraine is part of Europe and NATO should step up their support to Ukraine without relying on the US. Let the US serve as the balancing power against Russia or as deterrence but NATO should be the one manning the ground.
