Messenger Lite vs The Facebook App: Which do you use to chat?

Facebook Messenger was designed for chatting through Facebook. However, one can still chat through the main Facebook app.

Which do you prefer to chat with on Facebook between the Messenger app and the main Facebook app?

I don't like chatting on Facebook App because I end up seeing so much ads. But I don't get to see that on Messenger.

my opinion: using the Messenger app is more convenient because it is fixed and stable for chatting only. It gives you the freedom to chat without the hassle of wasting time on photos and videos on the Facebook app.

I make use of the messenger app, as i find it a lot more fun and easier to make use of the messenger app for chatting.

For strictly chatting, I use the messenger app. The main Facebook app has lots of things to distract one while chatting.
